gun control in america.

now i'm not an american citizen, but i still have an opinion on this considering i am currently learning about american politics. and i know that the "right to bear arms" is on the bill of rights. but isn't it about time there should be some type of legislation introduced? the fact that american's are allowed to walk into a gun shop and purchase dangerous weapons that are used in battle. there have been many occasions where people have gone on a rampage killing innocent people. for example on the 14th December this year a young man walked in to a school and shot and killed 26 people 20 of them being children that were 6 or 7 and the rest being teachers. how is this fair? they also have the stand your ground law by which if a stranger is causing damage to your property or you feel you are in danger you can kill them if need be and not get charged. there has been times where people who should of been convicted haven't. even Obama said today that changes must be made.

it's been a while...

so i haven't been on here for a while. i sent off my ucas a week ago which is exciting!! woo! i haven't actually posted anything on here yet. i have so many opinion but not sure how to phrase them on here hahah. to be honest i tend to tweet a lot, so a lot of my opinions are on there.

let's have a go at this then...

so i thought i'd have a crack at creating a blog. i feel it is important for me to do so if i would like to pursue a career in journalism. so hello blogging world. i do use other social networking sites such as twitter, tumblr and facebook. oh and of course i had bebo like every other person my age; luckily i deleted that a few years ago. this blog will contain my opinions on pretty much anything i come across day by day.
